Seller-side agent for company data

Your data is worth more than you think. We know where to dig.

AI labs pay for records that show how a real company runs. Data Truffle prices yours before they go to market, runs a competitive process with vetted buyers, and brings back a first offer in 24 to 48 hours. Success fee only. Your data never passes through us.

No dataset needed to start. No upfront fee. Seven questions, about three minutes.

Why this market exists

AI has read the whole internet. It has never seen how your company runs.

Public websites show what companies say. Your records show what companies do: how a request comes in, who decides, what happens next, how it turns out. That knowledge only exists inside established businesses, beyond the reach of any crawler. Model builders now pay to license it.

What models already have

The public web

Marketing pages, articles, forums, code. Mostly read, mostly exhausted, and increasingly generated by other models.

  • What a company claims
  • The clean, finished version
  • No decisions, no exceptions, no outcomes
What they will pay for

Your operational records

Tickets that got resolved, proposals that got built, deals that closed or did not, the messy middle of real work.

  • Real workflows. How a ticket is actually resolved.
  • Real decisions. Approvals, exceptions, escalations.
  • Real outcomes. What happened next, and whether it worked.
What a seller-side agent does

Priced before it goes to market. Then the buyers compete.

Most owners who get an offer for their data get exactly one, from the first lab that called. We think the right number is three, and we think you should know what the records are worth before anyone names a figure.

We hunt the price first

A manifest of what you have is benchmarked against what vetted buyers are paying for comparable records right now. You see the range before any buyer sees your name.

How the hunt works →

Competing offers, not one offer

Qualified sets go to more than one buyer at once. Competing bids are the only reliable way to find out what records are really worth. One recent public data auction moved from a $5M opening bid to $12.5M on competition.

A first offer in 24–48h

Representation-style brokers take weeks to come back with a number. We come back in a day or two, because the pricing work is already done. Binding terms follow sample review.

At signing

Measured from a complete data manifest. A first offer is a process target, not a guarantee; buyers decide eligibility, price, and terms. Timelines after the first offer depend on buyer diligence and your own counsel's review.

What is it worth?

A rough range in ten seconds. A real one in 24–48h.

Three inputs drive most of the value: how many people generate records, how many years of history exist, and how many systems hold it. Drag the sliders. Nothing is saved or sent anywhere.

Indicative range
Illustrative, not a quote$190K – $560K

Assumes a professional-services company in the US with email, documents, CRM and support records. Indicative range observed across the market for single-company operational data licenses. Not a quote. Actual value depends on buyer demand, data quality, rights, and exclusivity.

Chain of custody

We broker the deal. We never touch the data.

We are an agent, not a marketplace and not a data processor. The only thing that passes through us is the manifest you approve and the offers that come back.

We are new. Here is what you can check instead of a logo wall.

You will not find testimonials on this site yet, and we will not invent any. What you can verify today: our fee schedule is public, our engagement letter is two pages and non-exclusive, every buyer we introduce is named before you decide anything, and our chain of custody means we are structurally unable to misuse your data. Run our own red-flags checklist against us before the first call.

Questions worth asking

Before the first call.

Do I need to send you a dataset to get an offer?

No. You answer seven questions and, if you qualify, we build a one-page manifest with you: what records exist, in which systems, over how many years. Buyers price from the manifest and, later, from a small de-identified sample you approve. Your full dataset never passes through us.

How can you bring back an offer in 24 to 48 hours?

Because we price the data before buyers see it. We maintain current demand signals from vetted AI training buyers, so a complete manifest can be benchmarked against what those buyers are paying right now. The first offer is an indicative, buyer-benchmarked range. A binding offer follows sample review and diligence.

What does it cost?

Nothing upfront. No retainer, no listing fee, no prep fee. We earn a seller-side success fee only when a license closes and you are paid. The full schedule is on the pricing page.

Who ends up with my data?

A buyer you approve, under a contract you and your counsel review, and only after signing. Transfer goes directly from your systems to the buyer. We never receive, store, or transmit your datasets.

What happens to customer and employee information?

It is removed before training. Every buyer we work with contracts to de-identify records before use, and the agreement spells out how, who verifies it, and when the supplied copy is deleted.
