Indicative value estimator

What is your company's data worth? Roughly, right now.

Six inputs, one range, and the math underneath it. Nothing you enter is saved or sent. When you want a real number, the offer form pre-fills from here and a first offer comes back in 24 to 48 hours.

Buyers currently pay most for records heavy in judgment and written decisions.
People who generate records: email, tickets, deals, documents. Not field crews or retail floor staff.
Continuous history in the same systems. Counted up to 10 years.
Email, chat, CRM, support desk, file storage, accounting, phone system, project boards.
Record types you have
Select everything your team touches weekly. Calls, tickets, and engineering records carry the most weight today.
Affects which buyers can take the data and how much rights work is involved.

How the range is built.

We would rather you see a plain heuristic than a black box. The real price comes from buyers; this is the shape of what moves it.

  • Base: $900 per desk-staff per year of records, years counted up to 10.
  • Industry multiplier from 0.85 (real estate) to 1.30 (legal), based on how much written judgment the work produces.
  • Systems multiplier: more systems means more layers a buyer can cross-reference.
  • Record-type weights: calls and tickets carry outcomes; billing is thin on judgment.
  • Region: rights complexity and buyer appetite.
  • The low end is 0.55× the midpoint, the high end 1.6×, floored at $25K and capped at $5M.

Questions

About this number.

Is this a quote?

No. It is an indicative range from a transparent heuristic calibrated to the ranges buyers and brokers have published for single-company operational data licenses. A real first offer comes from vetted buyers after we build a manifest with you, and that takes 24 to 48 hours.

Why do years of records matter so much?

Buyers are paying for how work evolves: decisions, exceptions, and outcomes across many cycles. Three years of the same workflow in the same system is worth far more than three years of fragments across tools that changed every quarter.

What if my company is under 20 desk staff?

Most buyers currently set the threshold at 20 desk staff and 3 years of records. Below that, the estimator still runs, but we will tell you honestly that demand is thin today and what to start documenting so the asset exists when demand widens.

Does this page store what I enter?

No. The calculation runs in your browser. Nothing is saved or sent anywhere until you choose to continue to the offer form, which pre-fills with your inputs.

Rare data, properly priced.

Turn the range into a real offer.

Seven questions. No dataset. A first offer from vetted buyers in 24 to 48 hours.

Measured from a complete data manifest. A first offer is a process target, not a guarantee; buyers decide eligibility, price, and terms.
