This policy covers datatruffle.ai: the forms, the booking page, the estimator, and the messages we exchange with you. It does not cover the business records a company may later license to a buyer. Those never pass through us and are governed by that license.

datatruffle.ai is operated by Data Truffle, Inc. ("Data Truffle", "we", "us"). We are a seller-side agent that helps established companies license their operational records to AI training buyers. For privacy questions or requests, email hello@datatruffle.ai.
This policy applies to website visitors, people who submit a form, book a call, or email us, and representatives of companies and buyers we work with. If you use the site on behalf of a company, it applies to the information you share about that company as well.
The estimator runs entirely in your browser; nothing you move a slider to is saved or sent anywhere unless you then submit a form. We do not ask for, and ask you not to send, business records, exports, files, logins, or personal information about your customers or employees. If you send them anyway, we will delete them and tell you.
We do not sell personal information. We do not send marketing sequences to people who asked a question; we answer the question.
We never share, hold, or transmit a seller's underlying business records. Any transfer of licensed records happens directly between the seller and the buyer under their signed license.
If a company signs our engagement letter, the information we hold about that company and its records is also governed by that letter, including its confidentiality terms. If this policy and a signed engagement letter conflict, the engagement letter controls for that company. Our fee schedule is published on the pricing page.
We keep contact details and qualification answers for as long as a conversation is live and for a reasonable period afterward, so a company that comes back a year later does not have to start from nothing. We keep records of signed agreements, fees, and consents for as long as tax, accounting, and legal obligations require. You can ask us to delete your details at any time; we will do so unless a legal obligation or a signed agreement requires us to keep them.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encryption in transit and access limited to people who need it. No system is perfectly secure and we cannot guarantee security. The most effective safeguard on this site is structural: we never hold your business records, so they cannot be exposed by us.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, receive a copy of it, object to or restrict certain uses, and withdraw consent. To make a request, email hello@datatruffle.ai. We will verify that the request comes from you and respond within the time the law requires. We will not treat you differently for making a request.
We and our service providers may store and process information in the United States and other countries whose privacy laws differ from yours. Where the law requires it, we use appropriate safeguards such as contractual protections.
This site is for businesses and adults. It is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
Nothing on this site is legal, tax, financial, or compliance advice, and nothing on it guarantees that a company will receive an offer, a price, or a payment. Indicative ranges are illustrative. A first offer within 24 to 48 hours is a process target, not a promise; buyers decide eligibility, price, and terms. Have your own counsel review any agreement before data moves.
We will post any update to this policy on this page with a new "last updated" date. If a change is material, we will also say so on the site or by email to people it affects.
